The PAM172, a special edition from 2003, was Panerai's first tantalum watch. Asi posted a fabulous picture of the PAM172 a while back ago here (see below pic). You can see the unique grey color of the tantalum case. And the blue hands contrasts beautifully with the tantalum case!

And then in 2004, Panerai released the PAM192, a chronograph version which housed a Lemania movement.

I love the unique hue of the tantalum and would like to see more tantalum Panerai's in the future.
How do you guys feel? Yes to more tantalum watches? Or you don't have any preference?
