Sergio kind of encouraged me to start wearing this one. Truth is I liked it when it was launched, got it almost exactly a year ago when visiting Watches & Wonders. After that, it stayed in the bank for a long time, mainly because of a lot of comments ...  

Sometimes it takes the convincing of fellow purists to cement that notion. That\'s what makes this community my favorite one.

Still living large

You give the 512 the chance to...shine. Per se, dimensions aside, the 512 IS a rather handsome model. There, now I've said it...hahahaha

I've got a 7.5 inch wrist and absolutely enjoy wearing my 512. I also wear 44m Luminors and 45 Rads. It's a straight beautiful watch that dresses down with a casual strap and dresses up on the black croc. Don't fear the non-purists!

Only crazy to those who think they're sane! I've been on other forums but I appreciate the new layout. Going to take a look at the new JLC MUT Moon in black tomorrow.

Yes, they have a loupe. I'm familiar with the silver dial but looking forward to seeing the new black one and the MC in black. I admit to desiring the Duometre Chronograph in white gold with the gorgeous black dial for a while but I think my itch has been... 

I had the one with the silver dial and loved it a lot. Lately though, my ageing eyes struggled with reading the date so it's left for another home where it is more appreciated. A lovely watch with a very nice character and charm. The black is an additiona... 

Earlier this year I was at the Panerai boutique in Singapore trying out 42 mm models. When the salesperson saw that I was a little hesitant to try out the larger options because of my small wrist, he quipped, "with Panerai, you either go big or you go hom... 

Tastes differ and wrists differ, and the sooner that is realized, the better it will be for them. It is precisely this sort of comments and marketing propaganda that "force" ideals on people which I think will be where a brand stumbles.
