Officine Panerai

Ciao Ale!

Always great and feel like a great honour to be hearing from someone in Italia! I was so happy yesterday when i went to pick up my grail that i sang "Fratelli d'Italia"! Do you know that i don't even know how to sing my own country's national anthem, but know how to sing "L'inno Italia"? ! Goes to show you how much i love your country mio amico!

Now the answers to your question!

About the luminova, this is the same luminova utilised in the 249 which is also a contemporary piece, but as each piece differs slightly from one another, some are darker, and some are lighter. Plus the fact that the 349 has the pink gold ring in it, therefore it complements the patina, together with the gold hands as well, thus resulting in the patina appearing very much darker.

As for the movement, this is the exact same Minerva 16-17 as utilised in the PAM 309/322 combo, and i have to emphasis again that this is NOT NOS, so in fact it isn't a "left-over" of sorts, but is being produced continuously. I believe that OP will continue to use this movement for their future special editions as well, that is one of the reason why Minerva is bought over by Groupe Richemont.

Grazie mille Ale!

Ciao
