Officine Panerai

Buy the seller not the watch, but take a look at the watch anyway :)

The watch seems genuine for me but you should do some research on the internet. The Chinese make fake PAM194, so my advice at first you should look for photos of the real PAM194 and fake PAM194 and compare them to the ones that the seller sent you. Then, I guess you buy the watch from a private seller and not a professional, which makes you panic and that's quite understandable, because I also assume that you can not go in person to the seller to see the watch in real life. Another way to make sure that the watch is real but has a chance to be realized is to ask him to show you the movement of the watch even if it will only help you a little, because the movement of the watch PAM194 is a Valjoux 7750 that is widely copied in China. Also try to see if the seller accepts Paypal, once you've received  the watch brings it to an AD and if there should be a problem Paypal should cover you. Finally, I do not know what this watch represents for you, but it's not an exceptional model from Panerai imo, and the one you present to us is in very bad condition and I guess it has no box neither paper. So, if i was you,  I would look for another one even if I have to pay an extra money for one  in better conditions. In my humble opinion it is better to pay a little more and have his watch than pay a little less and get scamed. Finally, if you are still ready to take the risk, take it. But do not forget why you came to ask for help on this forum in a first place and keep in mind that you should" buy the seller not the watch".

I hope I have help you at least a bit, you should also keep in mind that the watch has a price, but the peace of mind doesn't. I was scammed once by a professional. I was able to get a refund,  but I can assure you that you do not want to go through this kind of story.
Good luck!
