almost newbie here...
Hi all...
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all the posts for almost a year now...I have been waiting, saving, deciding, undeciding, and have finally gotten to the point where I am almost a new owner of a Panerai. Just got word that the new PAM 279 I ordered is almost here....I have been drooling over getting this watch for YEARS!

i was doing exactly the same the past week...
Congrats! it must be exciting waiting for ur new piece to arrive! frankly i been going through the same thing all week as every piece i liked & researched always leading to another piece thats just a step close to what i think ll be perfection... i loathe...

Great choice for a first Panerai. I always liked the titanium/tobacco color combo. Enjoy it and looking forward to seeing some pics.
