6152-1 A piece of history to enjoy....

Jul 31, 2011,04:09 AM

I wanted to share my newest grail...The ever so rare 6152-1 with Radiomir dial, no crown guard and Brevet crown. According to Volker and Ralf's book as of 2009 only 2 known existed in this exact configuration and here is one of them - documented and in their data base. HAGD all!! Cheers--- Ken

it is one very important piece of history of Panerai that you have taken the responsibility to preserve and past on to the next generation :P

You can post it every day, I won't get rid of it.

I can't get rid of it! Definitely, uine piece de choix, my friend. I think I preefer it in this configuration, rather than with the crowngruard. Less Panerai, maybe, but how elegant! Enjoy, Ken, this is a grail for many of us. Best, Nicolas.

Thanks Nicolas my friend!

This is a spectacular watch and I can appreciate how difficult the hunt must have been. To me it's also fascinating from the POV of how vintage watch desirability has changed, twenty years ago I know dealers how couldn't sell this oversized chunky watch. ...

Hard to do any better ;-)

Nice piece! Just for your info, I think that there is more than 2, I would say that it is safer to say 6-8 pieces. But even if they were a few dozen this piece is just stunning! many thanks for sharing.
