42mm Ti with leather strap

Since my early introduction to pin cushion Radiomirs, I always loved the look of how 47mm Rads looked with thick vintage straps (same width at buckle and case). While in contrast, the 45mm Rads I owned never looked as good to me with a non taper strap; which I attributed to the fact that 26 or 27 was too wide relative to the case size. I know it’s completely subjective. So when I owned 45mm, I always chose tapered straps which are more formal and worked well in that occasion.
I have had this 338 for close to a year now and never tried it on “vintage style strap.” 24/24 Gunny Egypt that I had laying my drawer for years LOL!
An at this moment I like and think the 24/24 looks good and captures my feeling when I see a 47mm Rad with 26/26 vintage strap... of course I could solve this “issue “ of mine by buying a 232 or 720 😂

I actually do like to wear a thick and 27mm brelli style kind of straps on my 721. If I want to go historical I put on a 3646 strap. Both works finde to me was changing a bit today. And yes u need a 47mm rad ...
You're quite right there....
