I am only buying for one or two OEM producers. I only wear comfortable straps not so much exotic one.


Diver strap is my favorite!

How many of you still continue to buy, on a regular basis, new straps for your PAMs?

Those who have been collecting for years on hand probably have bought a lot of aftermarket and OEM straps. I bet you clearly have "favorites" amongst your strap collection, so do you continue to add new straps? I'm curious to see if many of our collectors...

Great shot BTW.. Like you, there are a few that are my favorites and I found myself sticking to them...hence..less strap purchase..I think I am down to one or two a year...and always selling some if I am buying some..

Luckily, I haven't been bitten by the....

straps bug. Still and all, when I see a really....REALLY (my taste of course) nice one, I can't help getting it. I'm strictly an OEM man and my favourite are: JV, Assolutamente and the vintage straps (like the one for the Egiziano). I have a strap waiting... 

Things are pretty simple....

I have tons of straps for my Panerais, but I have no Paneraid anymore... So, no more new straps for the moment. :) It is good when life is simple. :) Best, Nicolas

Have bought maybe about 10 over the years, but used maybe 5 of them. Got another 10 or so which are gifts from Panerai gatherings and birthdays from horo-mates. Think I am well covered for at least next few years. Only ones I would buy, would be non brown...

I enjoyed your comments and as I have quite a number of straps ( well in excess of a hundred) your thoughts and observations caused me to reflect on the subject ... I'd have to say it probably gets down to two issues a change in my tastes and a lack of re...

I ordered my first custom strap nearly straight away after I got the watch. Then I got a OEM Gold Calf and a JV and I have another 4 other custom straps but I haven't purchased any more. Stopped for the moment as I am using the money for a cheaper alterna...

For radiomirs, gave up changing straps - too complicated for my tired eyes. For Luminors, I ocassionally still change straps - but Imho, once you have XXXXX ammo strap you are pretty much set - its second to none! Best, Palmasea Strap maker name edited ou...

I find that I have enough of a stable that I am never short. I remember waiting two years for one strap to be made. So I guess I would say I am not buying any these days because I feel I have covered all the bases. Bill
