The PAM 190 is my fav pam of all time. Plus it has a Jaeger LeCoultre movement. So, design + horological credibility. Wish they  made those again...

My Bond PAM

Hello dear Friends! Id just wish to share here one of my favorite Panerai watches. I affectionately call it, "My James Bond Pam"! It is a Radiomir Pam 190, a very nice 45 mm version of the classic model. Its two less mm of case and being of the Radiomir...

Hey Abel, I didn't know Sean Connery wore a Pam 190!

Side by side the Panerai 190 with the JLC Eight Days

The Panerai 190 was the only watch I kept of the original strap in the original configuration. Below is the JLC with the same eight day movement. I think Panerai did a great job hiding the the reserve counter. Abel put the watch near your ear you can bare...

Both are super watch and keepers.

But then again they are all keepers. A+ Bill

Thank you for your comments and awesome photos Bill! Yes it is true...

I like to listen to the movements ticking, but I can barely hear that of my 190 A very quiet movement. It also surprised me the small diametrr of its balance wheel. Your JLC 8 days is a beaty! Thanks for sharing Bill!

Mr. Bond... how comes that you let your weapon empty, without any round left?...

... Lol!! :))) Great shot Sergio! Thank you! Enjoy your Pam 190!! With cordial regards, Abel.

I use my 197 very..VERY seldom :-)

it was and "impulse" purchase and the pink gold doesn't go down well with me, anymore. I should have bought a 190/198 instead :-) Ciaooooooo

I well understand Sergio! Gold watches somewhat restrict...

It's never too late to buy the PAM190 again!

Many collectors have re-acquired watches they've sold :) Some of the fanatics here have even bought the same watch 3 times! Cheers, Anthony

Completely agree with you Anthony! Never too late to buy again a 190!...

 By: Subexplorer : December 1st, 2014-18:52
... Mine is a keeper, but I can understand to those who buy a watch that they let go before. Even if they buy it again three times! Lol! That s the world of collectors! Cordial regards, Abel.

RIP Sir Sean Connery [nt]

I wanted to Bring back our fond memories of actor Sean Connery... while his character as James Bond is often affiliated with Omega and Rolex, the actor actually wore a Panerai 190 on his own time 😀

One knows it's coming.....

...that it's going to happen and when it does, the sense of loss never fails to stun you. I've lived most of my life with Bond/Connery in it and I, like a lot of people out there, still think he was the best Bond of them all. R.I.P. Bond.....James Bond-Co...

Perfectly said, amico. [nt]

I share same feelings here my dear Sergio!! I viewed my first Bond film in around 1964/65 as a young 15 years old lad. I admired Connery not only as Bond, the best Bond for me...

 By: Subexplorer : November 1st, 2020-05:58
... and as an actor of many other great films. Rest in Peace Sir Connery! You´ll be missed! Abel
