Hello Pitr@ck :)))

I think the two watches like a 341 together were both in a 47mm diameter or so wink

To be honest, I always wanted to see a Big Egy in a more standard diameter .... since we were on Canal Street I think the 60mm fit better this case's design wink

Pam 341... a smaller case!!

 By: aldossari_faisal : October 14th, 2010-01:31
i know panerai hear us on here one way or another i LOVE the 341 but at 60mm case size... no way it would be suitable to fit a normal human wrist... unless injected with some strange thingy which blows a human up to HULK's size... but then such a hormone ...

Good Idea

A very good idea, I would definitly go for it. Smaller would also mean cheaper right? Best Regards, George

money shouldn't be a consideration. Though sometimes it does get in the way of some of my watch projects. As Nicolas says at 47mm I'm in, that is supposing they announce the production of such a model and then don't decide days before deliveries are inten...

... a few weeks ago in NY Canal Street I saw a sort of mini 341, I could only guess the dimensions but I think it was 47mm, of course it was a fake but nevertheless well made with a hobnail black dial and the forms of the 341 case. I still regret not taki...

For the illustration you've given to us, seeing that size and imagining all the true essence of OP on it cause me a watering mouth feeling. now the ones behind the fake one can jump around for once in life they somehow did a good thing " giving a live exa...

square, uncompromising chap. I believe certain things should remain...as is. Everybody is familiar with the saying: you can make a lot of people happy, sometimes. You can make fewer people happy, most of the time. You cannot make everybody happy, all the ...

I'm sure it'll happen...

 By: AnthonyTsai : October 14th, 2010-08:04
But if I were Panerai, I wouldn't make a smaller PAM341 until after most of the PAM341's are out of the retail channel and into collector hands. That way, sales of the large PAM341 will be jeapordized as a result of the smaller PAM341 release. Because if ...

 By: patrick_y : October 14th, 2010-16:10
Make no mistake, the 341 is not a watch for everyone. It's not even necessarily for individuals who have tremendous wrists to wear the watch. No, the 341 is a big watch for people with big personalities. I wouldn't want a 341 to be any smaller, because th...

Great opinion, Patrick.

I love that: Alone against everyone! It is indeed true, Panerai has a wide offer of Submersible, which is the heir of the Egiziano. But aesthetically speaking, nothing close to the Egiziano, and in the spirit, the Bomba was the closest, and it was in year...

Hi Nicolas.....

 By: sirjo : October 14th, 2010-23:00
they put the Mare Nostrum on steroyds (PAM 300 is 50mm) and I'm sure a lot of people will love it (I've never been a M.N. guy myself, but I see the logic in it) because of that. For some reasons a shrunken Egiziano doesn't want to "wedge" itself inside my...

Well, Sergio.

 By: amanico : October 15th, 2010-01:24
There are several things to be think about. 1/ As for the Mare, I think it is even bigger, 52 mm, I believe. 10, or 8 mm more, that makes a big difference. From difficultly wearable, to impossibly wearable. 2/ Do People love watches they don't wear? I don...

I LOVE my watches, and boy do i WEAR THEM! [nt]

Because as what i believe to be the 1st and probably only Asian as of now to own a Egiziano and actually post shots of it here on the Purists, I totally back up Patrick here, and not just with words, but with actions! I will be wearing my Egiziano during ...

Well, Stephen, I don't have your wrist...

 By: amanico : October 16th, 2010-09:01
I don't care about what others think, and if I did care, I wouldn't have the collection I have right now. But I tried the Egiziano many times, and I can tell you that it is definitely not for may wrist, as well as the Mare, sadly. On my wrist, such a watc...

You have the same principle as I do mon ami as you put it in your 1st line

 By: BluNotte : October 17th, 2010-00:35
It is a pity, but i hope that maybe one day OP will release the Egiziano, and the Mare, and also the Baby Egiziano ( of which I am very interested in, and I know that you do too!) for you then! Best and have a great weekend! Stephen

Well said my brother!

 By: BluNotte : October 16th, 2010-07:30
And indeed i love the way you put it to the max! Thank you for this very powerful post! Stephen

We share the same passion!

I'm pleased to see that I am not alone and that I have your (and Nicolas') support. I truly stated in my post what I believed and I would not be true to myself if I were to alter my beliefs. I'm sure you understand this as I know you share the same belief...

You sure about that? ;)
