I started to make a short list, choosing only those with which I am familiar, rather than selecting those I may have seen once or twice but probably never had on my wrist. I find that it is hard to tell, in advance, whether a watch will become a favorite but after wearing it several times it becomes rather evident. My initial list, in numeric order, included a 27 (power reserve), 29 (tuxedo dial w/ power reserve), 63 (gmt w/ sweep), 87 (1000m sub w/ blue dial), 190 (8 day jlc), and 213 (1950 split chrono). All of which I find special but if I had to pick one ------- the 29. Unique dial w/ power reserve in the center. If I had to put in order it would be 29, 63, 213, 27, 190, and 87. I didn't realize until after the list was together there was only one sub and one radiomir and I placed them in the last two ranking positions.
