What i really want is this guy. But when it was out I couldn’t afford it. It was available at an AD, I tried it on and they had even discounted it. And now I can’t find it anywhere.

and subsequently sub-dials too close together. It's probably not evident when wearing the watch, but in large photos the way the chrono second hand intersects with the logo and the '12' looks imbalanced...

I was also thinking about the 5070. But the “discrepancies” between case and movement are much bigger on the 5070. This Minerva Chrono has 40 mm case and I cannot figure out the diameter of the cal 13 21-maybe someone can? The 5070 is 42 mm and the CH 27 ...
This watch is 40mm I believe...
...and the caliber is listed as 29.5mm so it seems that the Montblanc is less of an offender than PP in the small movement department. Still, if you look at the back, there is a lot of case between the edge of the movement and the outer case.

Yeah the 13 21 is epic watchmaking. Up there with all the best manufactures no doubt and regardless of who owns who. They own the villeret Manufacture 100% so it is definitely in house. Ideally I would have loved to see the Minerva logo on the front too-m...

It is the watches for a collection. I saved a few Minerva watches, but also some Montblanc models. The Montblanc watches are easy to get, but with the hobby it is the sport to find Minerva watches.

Totally tru. That mythical Minerva brand is far far more special then Montblanc.

That movement is a beautiful chronograph movement. The Minerva characters engraves, the pientere arrow. Having a Montblanc watch for the Minerva heritage inside. And it is all about Minerva. Richemont did a great job, so Minerva lives on.
