Glad to receive this limited edition MB (Club M58 2nd series) from boutique in this weekend. A simplistic design, with hidden peripheral rotor on dial side, which can be revealed by turning the bezel/ polarizer. The caliber inside is an uncommonly seen au...
If the laser engraving of Minerva manufacture on the caliber could be changed to Geneva strips like the other bridges, it will be even more attractive. Having said that, the inward angle polishing in the current caliber is already very nice.
Frankly the fake alligator that comes with the watch by default is an embarrassment ... Can't understand how someone at MB thought it made sense for such a special piece.
Hadnโt been aware of this AT ALL - have they done others like this? How do I learn more about upcoming ones? Iโve been sorta looking for the right modern time-only addition to my Pythagore and my PAM322 with its Minerva calibreโฆif I have one brand loyalty...
The dial and hands arenโt 100% my liking. I have just been wanted a good time only from them. I tried a RaZ and just didnโt like how it sat on my wrist. The good news is Iโm sure theyโll use that movement in other iterations !
The LE 38 was tempting, I recall the seconds being too high up so I passed. The Pythagore in like nice, the movement didnโt excite me. Us watch guys are picky ๐
The LE 38โs vintage Minerva caliber is gorgeous, except a bit small, resulting in high up position of small second towards the centre. I am also not particularly fond of the Pythagore movement, lack of inwards angle ๐
I especially like their watches, they are quite nice. I wish they would come back with their version of the ultra thin. The one you have is very nice and quite interesting.
