In general, I don't take off my watch. But I have to be very careful when writing or typing on a glass desk because of the potential scratches the watch can acquire when coming in contact with glass.

My watch is the first thing that I strap on when I wake up and the last thing off before bedtime. The only time in the day when I take it off is for the shower. Aside from that, it is always on my wrist.
