I definately take off the watch when I'm sitting in front of my work station
unfortunately with "electronic" medical records, I find myself going to one work station to another very frequently.
I've already left a watch "unattended". Luckily, a staff member saw it and was honest enough to return it.
So now when I get to work , the watch goes into a locked safe until lunch time

Both the watch and the ring. Esp when I have to type for a long time at my desk. Esp if the watch (and ring) is very heavy. I also take care not to place my watch too near my cell phones, tablets, laptop or computer speakers just in case they get magnetiz...

at the office, I always keep it on my wrist but the first thing I do when back home, it is to take it out. So I never write my watches articles with a watch on the wrist. :) Fx

In general, I don't take off my watch. But I have to be very careful when writing or typing on a glass desk because of the potential scratches the watch can acquire when coming in contact with glass.

Not me
My watch is the first thing that I strap on when I wake up and the last thing off before bedtime. The only time in the day when I take it off is for the shower. Aside from that, it is always on my wrist.
