Great reading, Andrew!
I like how this watch presents a lot of information cleanly and clearly. I must admit some bias though, as the minute I see the Minerva script I'm interested to learn more about the watch. I feel very drawn to their timepieces for some reason. Your particular watch is even more interesting, as there seems to be a mystery surrounding the movement. I couldn't even begin to speculate past the theories you've posed in your review, as to what actually happened with the watch in that regard. It's a good-looking movement regardless, and the proportions of your watch are excellent. I find it to be very beautiful overall.
Thanks for presenting some background on the model, as well. As usual, I've learned a lot from your post. Congratulations on a great new vintage watch. You wear it well (Great wrist shots!).
