These Minerva chronographs are special. I continue to feel that Montblanc missed the boat branding their high end watches Montblanc rather than Minerva. M4

Agree it should stay as minerva

A Minerva by Montblanc

Sure. Montblanc should brand their Minerva editions fully Minerva. A expensive Montblanc, for me is a Montblanc. Nice watches, but i stay cold. When Minerva is there, a different Weems glow up. So it take awhile Montblanc wake up. Sleepy. Pen brand.

Perhaps the Montblanc mountain image would suffice

Minerva timepieces do not sit right unless the branding Minerva is retained. Perhaps just adding discreetly the Montblanc mountain image on the dial would suffice to add the value of quality of Montblanc products. Probably not a big chance of that happeni...

Perhaps the company have a not so original name. Perhaps they forget to use their own names. Albeit Omega for example is also no name. Rolex the same. Patek Philippe is a name. AP is a name. Julles Audemars. Minerva is an owl. So many names can be print, ...

I was fortunate to recently visit the Minerva manufacture in Villeret and my impression was that it was thanks to the back-up of a big company like Montblanc that this small group of watchmakers could work with traditional techniques and seemingly unlimit...

Totally agree. Spectacular.

Timeless classic for sure.

What an epically beautiful watch, rendered as usual in the finest possible way (I seriously need to learn how to take proper photographs).

As for the name on the tin, I've taken note of the views expressed above (Montblanc vs Minerva). Here's a different perspective, or at least one that may not be too common. My perspective begins with the question, "Why care what it's called?" Why care abo...

Beautiful Minerva

And with respect to Montblanc: Minerva and their workshops would be gone without them. And a company that sells fountain pens up to 2 million Euro retail price must have a strong brand and craftsmanship. Minerva watches are imho a side sale to Montblanc p...

Exactly my thoughts.
