Taupe/sand/light brown/camel/beige …. It goes by many names. That’s half the issue when trying to find just the right tone. I got lucky here.
Also, it’s suede. So the color will eventually darken a bit I’m guessing.
I’m not a big fan of sailcloth but I can see it’s value in a humid climate. I’d rather use a silicone strap when too warm and sweaty. Mind you, I don’t really wear watches with straps in the daytime outdoors when I can help it.
I’m in Singapore 2 ° north of the equator so you can imagine how humid it can get.

No Incabloc for the V71 with the batch of 32. Well spotted. 👏 The Aviation, also with the v71 has Incabloc shock protection. The batch of movements is from a different batch. 🤝

With the quick release, it’s fun and easy to change too. This strap is a tad thicker as well. Necessary as a flat one would contrast too much with the substantive case. 🤝

A bit lighter but no issues. It’s not a small watch. 42 mm case diameter with a 14 1/2 ligne (32.7 mm) size for the valjoux 71 calibre, solid pink gold applied indices … there is heft. 🤝
