General cost of service
My JLC grande date reverso is in need of a service, running a bit fast.
I want to get a general ballpark figure for a standard service. A USD figure from the U.S. is fine. I'm currently living in HK and I'm hearing 4000-5000 HKD, which is possibly well over $600 USD, seems high. That does not even include a case polishing.
What's the general cost for a service in the U.S.? Does it include case polishing? If not, how much more for that?
Thanks in advance.

I paid around $1200 to have my Compressor Geographic serviced 3 years ago in Fort Worth, TX. I was not happy with the additional quote of $1000 to replace the crowns, which JLC stated had dis-colored white paint. I declined the crown replacement. $450+ us...
