You can't generalize...Even if it's very sad and deceiving, of course...
As you speak of PP, I had in the same week, 2 problems...
One with my Brand New 5712, the crown stayed in my fingers, and the winding wasn't correct...
One with my 5110P, the croix de calatrava of the folding buckle died on the floor...
All the brands know this kind of problems, but once again, this is not an excuse, nor a reason to accept it.

If I had a 5101, I know what I'd do with...I'd sell it to go on this Gyro II, my friend... The Gyro II is much more exciting, appealing and yes, horogically speaking, much more interesting. As for the finish, I'd say that the Gyro II is over the 5101, IMH...
