Why different words on the "flip side" of Reverso Duo??
Jul 16, 2021,18:17 PM
I fell in love with the Reverso Duo the first time I saw one, in 2007. I knew that I had to have one.
Well, to be more specific, when I saw the watch face flipped to reveal another watch face on the back side,
my jaw dropped FIRST, and THEN I fell in love with this unique piece.
I bought a RG classic duo, but it was too small for my rather fat wrists,
so I sold it. I always wanted another Duo, but a bigger one.
Last month, I spotted aReverso Duo 986 Grande Ltd. Edition that finally ticked all the boxes.
At 52mm x 32mm in true Grande size at a great price, with box, papers, very minor if any dings,
and a barely worn leather strap, I knew that I had found the right Duo.
I am really happy and satisfied with this one. It's a keeper.
I noticed that on the "back side" of my Duo 986, the words "HOME TIME" are written.
My previoius RG had "NIGHT DAY" written. Checking out more on the Internet,
I find some Duo's with the words "TRAVEL TIME".
Anyway, I am curious if any JLC experts know why JLC uses different words?
Maybe it's based size or functions or period of production (?)
Thanks in advance for any comments/feedback.
