I would nonetheless choose the rose gold version, which appeals to me even more (as almost always...).

But, as almost always, I personally feel more attracted to the rose gold version!

but I would certainly keep one like you if I did!

With steel, it looks monochromatic indeed.

But JLC simply has too many great options to choose from, and especially the Reverso for a dress watch. My next purchase will be the most challenging to determine of my life thus far - 1921 - Overseas - Reverso.... I will have all three at some point, the... 

I will have to physically try them and subsequently make up my mind. The 1921 in white gold simply because I don't think I can justify spending about $50K on the platinum version which I like the most. At that price point I'm going to get a high complicat... 

the Overseas and the Reverso. I imagine things will clear up along the way, when the good opportunities will present themselves. I wish you the best and hope that you will find soon the right alignment of the planets to take the first step!

There's nothing wrong with them... It's just that they move the date indicator out of the way of the moon phase but allow the much larger minute and hour hand to obscure it. Just a joke (that didn't work...)

I was referring to the earlier ones, a JLC classic at 37 mm from the 90's. Here in ST, WG, and PT: ...  

And I'm not sure I personally like them more than the newer version. I would have to see both side by side I guess.
