I considered this one years ago....
But JLC simply has too many great options to choose from, and especially the Reverso for a dress watch. My next purchase will be the most challenging to determine of my life thus far - 1921 - Overseas - Reverso.... I will have all three at some point, the question is which one comes first 😉....

I would nonetheless choose the rose gold version, which appeals to me even more (as almost always...).

I will have to physically try them and subsequently make up my mind. The 1921 in white gold simply because I don't think I can justify spending about $50K on the platinum version which I like the most. At that price point I'm going to get a high complicat...

JLC is a brand I still don't know very well,
but I'm interested in learning more about it. And I'm really curious to discover how my grandfather's watch (a Uniplan Etrier) will come back from restoration (my expectations are high)! Best, Emmanuel
Yes, the watch is in Le Sentiers and the restoration will last... 55 weeks!
So, the expected return is around February 2026: I will have to be patient.
Funny that they chose the finest and least obtrusive hand...

There's nothing wrong with them... It's just that they move the date indicator out of the way of the moon phase but allow the much larger minute and hour hand to obscure it. Just a joke (that didn't work...)
