I have over 300 JLC/LC ads in my library + I don't know how many catalogues...
LeCoultre watches from the same time like the Worldtimer, Master Mariner Chronometre, Galaxy.... I have several documents...
But I have never seen one single document on the Quartermaster!
To find a Quartermaster in good condition may take awhile...
I think I saw maybe 10 in various condition in the last 10 years.
Inside is the Cal K831/CW - only arround 2500 movements were ever made.
Guess no one really knows how many became complete watches.

Who would happen to know if the hands from the Quartermaster are the same ones as for Geophysic. Both watches are from 1958...so could they have used the same charismatic hands?
It seems to be the same hands, but I am not sure they have the same axis.

There were a few 24 hours watches. Breitling, for example, with the Cosmonaute.
The Lecoultre archives were lost, sadly... So, most of the time, we can find an ad or two which describes a Watch we didn't know. That is the way I discovered the Lecoutlre Master Mariner Chronometer... Best, Nicolas
