Jaeger-LeCoultre

This was one of the great moments of this SIHH, indeed.

Being there and having the possibility to speak with Joel Cordier and some of the watchmakers of the Manufacture about this new Minute Repeater is always a superb moment.

I love the 2 dials of this Reverso, and the concept of the open dial, lime on the MMR Ti.

I'm happy to see that the Trebuchets follow their brilliant way / life into new exciting products and that they are not only reserved to the " creme de la creme " of striking watches, such as the HM à Grande Sonnerie.

I'm also happy to see that this 80th Anniversary has been so brilliantly celebrated, this year with some very appealing models.

I have just a small reserve, even if I'm not sure that I don't like it: the fact that the rideau covers the dials when the Trebuchets are in work, because I love to see them in work.

BUT, why not?

Why not considering that a minute repeater is mainly made to be heard, and that the rideau helps to focus on the sound?

As always, JLC amazes us with their interpretation of this traditional complication, and fromwhat I heard on the proto, the sound is promising, due to the use of these Trebuchets.

I think we'll often speak about this Reverso in the months to come.

Here are 3 pics I took: Two of the movement, recto / verso, and one of the booth, to remember the extraordinary moment we lived.

Best, and thanks for thissuperb report, Jerome.

Nicolas.
