i am a bit confused. are the markers on the new polaris (the ss) all luminous? i realise there is 2 dials, the first a msitake but seems nicer by accoun ts so far, the second is a bit more vague in the descriptions Is anyone dissapointed with theirs? i se... 

Only the numbers on the dial ( with the hands of course ) are luminous, not the indexes... This problem apart, the Two dials are very close. Hope this will help you, and not deceive you too much, Best, Nicolas

As all this is very confussing to poor little me (and probably lots of other people), would it be possible for you to give a detailed description of the differences between the two dials and maybe accompany it all by some pictures showing the differences....

Nicolas, Thanks for the explanations, I think that I have got it now. The watch is serial number 191 and I don't know whether that means that it is a batch 1 or not. Guess that I will have to waite for my birthday to open the box and find out what I wound... 

So, it doesn't mean nothing. A firend of mine got a 3XX / 768, and it came in December, so with the 1st dial. what has a meaning is the moment you received it, or more precisely, the moment your AD received it for you. If it was more than 2 or 3 weeks, I'...

...which of these straps did you end up going with for the time being on your '68?  Also, weren't you getting a new strap for your Legend Diver?  I think both Filip and I are anxious to see what has been decided upon! Daos
