first Thanks Nicolas for the explanation and help.
i ordered mines last june, still no sign. the AD is a good guy and tod me that the rep has said no one hasgot any, only 1 delivered in the UK.
i thin that sonds odd as loads of people here seem to have recieved them.
i did ask him to find out if the dial could be fitted fro the first incaration and i was told NOdefinitly not.
he did tell me that the indxes would be all luminous on the ss model, which i was happy to hear, seems like that was wrong too.
I did not like the night shots of the second dial. it seems a bit picky i know but JLC produce what i consider the best of watches, i have high expectations.
BTW happy birthday and how can you not open that box??????

The disappointment is due to the fact that
Only the numbers on the dial ( with the hands of course ) are luminous, not the indexes... This problem apart, the Two dials are very close. Hope this will help you, and not deceive you too much, Best, Nicolas
Detailed explanations
As all this is very confussing to poor little me (and probably lots of other people), would it be possible for you to give a detailed description of the differences between the two dials and maybe accompany it all by some pictures showing the differences....

Nicolas, Thanks for the explanations, I think that I have got it now. The watch is serial number 191 and I don't know whether that means that it is a batch 1 or not. Guess that I will have to waite for my birthday to open the box and find out what I wound...
