Be problematic. Other than that, if you leave it on a flat surface, without moving it too often, it is not a problematic clock. Best, Nicolas

I have a perpetual/moon phase model, and I love it. It has run constantly for ~8 years. It does "drift" over time; I ignore it unless it gets over +/- 7 minutes, largely self corrects. I have several clocks and appreciate that I don\'t have to wind this o...

... two years ago, since then it sits firm on a flat surface at home and it has been just astonishingly accurate. I managed to get it to +1 minute in a month, that\'s good enough for me ;-) Cheers Henrik

but mine is not good enough to show the time. It was a JLC approved watchmaker who brought me the JLC wall stand and fixed it. Later he tried to adjust the watch but without great success. Anyhow, Atmos is a nice conversation piece when having guests. Bes...

My Mum bought it in 1956. It endured the tropical weather of Africa (not a very good idea) and it needed to be serviced just after 2 years. It did not return to Africa and stayed in Europe where it got serviced only twice since then (basically one service...

I still remember our cat sitting next to the Atmos and being mesmerized by the balance wheel. I had to grab her by the back and pull her out. I sprayed some pepper around the Atmos and she never dared doing it again.

Robin, Atmos clocks are often given as momentos of pivotal moments in your life; awards for services rendered; celebratory gifts. Not knowing this, I just bought the moon one on its visual appeal, about the same time as all these other Purists (who knew?)...  

Thank you very much for sharing your story and pics. Now the Moonphase version seems more appealing looks wise to me. I am considering the Atmos now amongst other wall Quartz clocks. The MBF spider doesn\'t work for my wife ! Yes for Atmos definitely look... 

At my old house +/- 5mins over 6 mths for abt 3 years, Then we moved house (still in Singapore) with it since 1 year ago and the accuracy after my second attempt only is less than 1 second per days. I love my Atmos clock more than all my wrist watches in ...

Robin, We only have one Atmos and I don\'t remember that I made a mention here. In any case, here\'s my experience: It\'s a clock that requires an oriental patience to settle and adjust but it\'s worth everything ($$$ and patience). Just to look the slow ...

I've had my Atmos Classique for about five years from new. It's remarkably accurate once settled and adjusted. It does need to be sited on a stable surface and leveled using the spirit bubble. Once you've done this I only need to correct it once or twice ...
