Well, I was considering passing by the AD as well, but Icouldn't make it yesterday. Too bad, I'll just keep in memory the proto I had in hands. But the finish definitely looks, enhanced compared to the proto !
Regarding the dial, your macros show the irregularity of the "paint". I think it has to be checked on the wrist since the magnification you used looks really high.
Well, I noticed another mistake with the jumping hand that is not in front of the "4" index... Either a mistake during the assembly, or some possible issue with the hand not supporting first accelerations. That's a bit sade, but no big deal either.
At least that doesn't take away my eyes from this watch. I used to consider the Lange as the most desirable chrono, but in my opinion, mostly for it's back view. Never totally fell in love for the dial and its small "aperture" (translation for "ouverture" in french)
Maybe the L.951 is slightly more attractive than the 380, on a pure aesthetical point of view, but considering the dial side and the case, I put this Duometre higher than the Lange in my wishlist.
