I don't own one (yet!), but have been considering it carefully. The HT is a great value compared to so many other watches. If its size and shape are comfortable on your wrist, and you like it, then it is a slam dunk. You get so much watch for the money. The second time zone, the ability to flip the watch and see the beautiful movement, a lovely and simple dial. It looks and feels amazing both on the bracelets and the leather strap. That would be the only difficult decision for me.
I think the Squadras are a very masculine version of the Reverso, with a lot of presence and elegance at the same time -- all of the great attributes of a Reverso, but in a larger size for the modern man's wrist. I would get it in a heartbeat, but at the moment I am pining for an older, discontinued Reverso.
As others have said above, I would not worry about quality. With any mechanical watch, there is the chance that something may go wrong, and often it depends on how the watch is worn and treated, but this is part of owing a mecanical. JLC's quality is superb, and the Squadras truly feel like they have been built to last.
Good luck in your decision,
