Sorry For My Tone But The Boutique Manager Promised...
ED - This is a great post, but it is not the way I wanted to find out about this event.
I was in the boutique just eight weeks ago purchasing a (four-hundred-fifty dollar) black alligator strap for my Master Control. The manager took my business card and
PROMISED to send me an invite to this event. I received no invite and frankly, I am very disappointed in the BH JLC Boutique Manager. Not to mention he wouldn't cop to the fact that he damaged the brown alligator strap that was on my MC while changing it to the new strap. Nice work, Nicola. A Double-Whammy! I wont be purchasing any thing further from you or the boutique!
Sorry for the tone of my post, but I don't like it when people break promises. Especially those who know my enthusiasm for the JLC brand and make all kinds of overtures about seeing the new watches and meeting Jerome Lambert. As I already own an AM Amvox, Master Geographic (in platinum) and the aforementioned Master Control, I was very ready for my next JLC to be a Duometre, but no more. I'm going to pass.
Yup, I'm disappointed all right.
