Something old, something new

The Duometre line is the crown jewel for JLC. It is technically innovative, with strong case design and a very nice finishing on the movement, making the view from the back...something to remember.
To further endorse your thoughts, I would also want to see some mild evolution for the Duometre. A perpetual calendar and/or a rattrapante are the ideal complications for that. The case size at 40,5 and 42 is good enough for me. I think anything smaller would have issues with the movement size and anything bigger simply has no point. In both sizes, the movement fits the case perfectly. It is a case made around a movement and not a movement simply put in an already existing case design. The movement/case size ratio of the Duometre is one of the best aspects of these watches.
Of course, I would not want to see the market "flooded" with Duometres, so, as new models emerge, JLC should stop production on the older ones. In general, they should keep production relatively low on the Duometre - only think if PP, AP, VC or ALS made a Duometre... the price would probably be in 6 figure territory.
Cheers!
