Thanks for sharing these photos of a real beauty, Nicolas. Like so many works of art, the more I see the Duometre, the more I find reasons to love it...the combination of colors...different levels on the subdials...finishes on both the movement and dial...the frosty elegance of the grainé...the solidity of the applied numerals at the cardinal hours. There is definitely a lot "going on" with the dial of this watch, which is something I hear repeatedly from detractors of this model. I feel like the more time I spend with it (Pictorially, at least.), the more I grow to appreciate the dial-layout, as it reveals itself to me in layers.

I'm drooling like a dirty old man over here ... the Duo Metre is indeed a fantastic watch and I doubt JLC will top this one in the nearest future (at least I'm not convinced by the new traditionelle offerings, but then agian they are a completely differen...
