This watch is Candy for the Eyes.

Was just wondering, when taking these pics if I prefered the Recto, or the Verso.

I just don't know.

One thing is sure, the Duo Metre is a HIT.

A bit of time is required to appreciate all its subtilities, all its strong points.

From the grainé finish of the dial to the sculpture of the movement, without forgetting its dynamic beauty when you play with the Chrono, each of these details is a reason to love it, and a pretrxt to take some more pics...

The blue screws in the movement give it so much life and color it is crazy!!! For a moment I even felt like they were within reach....drool... 

And the dial, well, simple, elegant, but at the same time complex....much like French women, won't you say???

Thanks for sharing these photos of a real beauty, Nicolas.  Like so many works of art, the more I see the Duometre, the more I find reasons to love it...the combination of colors...different levels on the subdials...finishes on both the movement and dial...the frosty elegance of the grainé...the solidity of the applied numerals at the cardinal hours.  There is definitely a lot "going on" with the dial of this watch, which is something I hear repeatedly from detractors of this model.  I feel like the more time I spend with it (Pictorially, at least.), the more I grow to appreciate the dial-layout, as it reveals itself to me in layers.

I'm drooling like a dirty old man over here ... the Duo Metre is indeed a fantastic watch and I doubt JLC will top this one in the nearest future (at least I'm not convinced by the new traditionelle offerings, but then agian they are a completely different fare altogether). When I retire from my current work this is definately a watch I would like to have and wear regularly

I have no doubt that it will be an excellent pretext to release some other fabulous watches...

To top this Chrono Foudroyante is an exciting defy, don't you think?
