Reversos will always be a manual for me..

 

And I’m not saying that because manual winding pieces are “cooler”. I prefer it to be manual because I actually like the feel of winding my old Duo. Not to mention the word “automatique” on the dial which I can also do without.

So I would prefer the manual. I guess 2018 is a year for visiting the JLC boutique! I want to compare it against my Duo GT.

Lastly, a dream Reverso Duo for me would be a verso that I actually want to use. The verso on mine is ok but I find myself not really using it. So a cool verso for me would be to have it in, yes, rouge. Business by day then something a bit more dandy by night. I’d probably want to the look of the Tribute Red on this verso although I’m not sure what to do with the night/day subdial as i’d want it to be as simple as the tribute.. Ah well, dreams..

I've alternately seen the new Reverso straps (this year's new models) described as "Fagliano" and "Fagliano Collection." Are these true Fagliano straps from the Argentine shop or "inspired by Fagliano" and mass produced elsewhere in the style of the Fagli...

Yes I'd probably agree that a Reverso needs to be manual if you're a Purist, but perhaps others don't want to think about it too much. Also like that on automatic - the recto side is now fully enclosed. Be good to see some more shots of them together Chee...

I like the time only simplicity of the Tribute red.. The night/day subdial works in a dual time context but, for me, may not work in a “dual mood” context. A way out would be be for the recto to have the dual time.. Having said that, this example needs to... 

+1 on the manual movement vs automatic.. Prefer the Classic Medium.. Also like the Verso side depicted of the Red (from last year ?)..
