Polaris, Amvox3, and other little news....

Dear all,

We have discussed already several times about the new products that may come this year (in 6 weeks from now we will know all the new JLCs smile ).

Rumour has been high about a relaunched Polaris. I can understand why as it is an appealing vintage and we are probably prompted to hope!

But will hope be enough? I mean that we may think about it in terms of JLC range management.

Amvox1 is already close to what a Polaris should be to respect the original watch. On the contrary a real diving JLC modern watch should get compressor keys for consistency with the current range.

We've heard "new diver" and we have traduced "new Polaris". But what would be a Polaris with three compressor keys?

If we want to have a diving watch inspired from a vintage model, and a watch that would not be an Amvox1 lookalike, my bet would be more on a Memovox Deep Sea (sorry I have no personal pic, the watch is pictured in the last JLC book, "La Grande Maison"). With two crowns only this watch would accept more easily compressor keys I guess.

Of course the Amvox1 could be also stopped and an Amvox3 could  (should?) come to replace it with a different design.
That could leave some room for a compressor keys Polaris but I personaly would wait more in terms of design and innovation from JLC  for a new diving watch!

I would be happy to share your opinions about these possibilities and in the mean time I'd be glad to discover what you wait from JLC this year.

Thanks for your participation.
