Nico, I am no JLC expert, just a lover of classic design. There certainly were several interesting and also very nice pieces in that era. Also, a designer does what senior management tells him or her to do. So the fault is never with the designer alone but in the end always with senior management.
Interestingly, perfect designs often get boring quite soon. A captivating design needs that little bit that catches your look for longer. Which in case of the Compressor Memovox may well be the alarm arc!
