Hi, On the chronograph version or in the Quantieme Lunaire version it is the same interest. On the Duometre a Quantieme Lunaire one barrel is just for providing the best accuracy, while the other powers all indicators, so indicators don't mix up with accu... 

Well the lunar complication and the chronometer each draw a constant amount of energy, so if the watch is accurate, it will be accurate for each. If the only reason why this complication has two power sources is to move the hands, then I do not see any ga... 

BUT the goal here is to get an absolute precision with providing to the escapement one source of energy, one of the 2 barrels, while the other is dedicated to the moonphase, the date, but also the hour, minute, and second hands. It is a concept, here, as ... 

I'm a bit late in appreciating the duometre. A couple of questions and I'm not sure if it was asked before: 1) I can see the chrono hand, of course, but does it have a "total" counter? 2) If it doesn't have a "total" counter, what's the philosophy behind ...

especially this white gold version as you said. I've seen it a few times but never got to hold it. One thought I have is whether the foudroyante is a little out of place spinning away on what is a "tranquil" classic face.

I was very fortunate to be in the London boutique and tried it on along with the chrono. To be honest, I have had a weird relationship with the dumoetre. In the past, whenever I have tried on one of the duometre chronos I have left without forming a bond....
