Yes, I too feel this is a really unusual JLC piece, and am quite surprised to learn it will have been made all the way back in the 1930's. I am surprisingly unable to find any numbers on it, anywhere, either on the movement, or anywhere on the case.
The advertisment is very eye opening and happens to be the very first time I have ever seen any literature regarding this clock anywhere, and ever, despite having looked around quite a bit for something on it.
