I have this unusual art deco table clock that I have never seen anywhere else and can't find any information about anywhere on the internet either-

It is a clock that was produced in the early 1930s under both brands, Jeager and Lecoultre, as other table clocks. The brand Jaeger-Lecoultre appeared later in 1937.
It was presented on a catalog at that time with the following information: "Duoface, cristal, lecture de l'heure des deuc côtés, mouvement 8 jours".
This clock was also available with a metal lamp on the top... "time and light"
Unfortunately, I don't have these 2 vintage books.
I have re-used 2 illustrations extracted from an auction catalog, that was dedicated to JLC. The auction took place in Paris in 2003 and the catalog is a great resource for JLC watches as some of them are presented with their corresponding booklets.
amanico presented the back cover of that catalog here jlc.watchprosite.com
I just took some more detailed pictures of the clock.
Yes, I too feel this is a really unusual JLC piece, and am quite surprised to learn it will have been made all the way back in the 1930's. I am surprisingly unable to find any numbers on it, anywhere, either on the movement, or anywhere on the case.
The advertisment is very eye opening and happens to be the very first time I have ever seen any literature regarding this clock anywhere, and ever, despite having looked around quite a bit for something on it.
Thanks very much

Hi Marv,
If possible may I please request you to post higher res images of the catalogue for me to save and keep. I'm unable to read the writing on the page in the current images.
I wish they would re-issue it! How about Basel 2010???!
