JLC App to set your moon phase.
JLC has created a very cool and useful App for smartphones to automatically set your moon phase. In brief, it takes a photo of your watch and tells you exactly how many clicks to advance the moonphase for the correct setting based on the lunar calendar and the Moonphase complication on your particular watch (reference). To get the App, just go to your device's App Store and search JLC Moonphase. Enjoy!

I remember we discussed that a few moths ago with JLC and they told me that they made this app for that purpose, indeed.
The main issue with a moon phase is to set it correctly. That kind of app is more than welcome, for moon phase lovers. Best and thanks for the news. Nicolas

I think Patek has something on their website whereby you can enter the calendar date but it is not as intuitive. Is there something similar for Lange as well?
They do indeed.
Though I find it fairly simple and rudimentary, but it gets you close enough. It is not like I have to know the precise position of the moon, so for me it works fine.

Hi Just downloaded it onto my iPad- bit more cumbersome to use but still ok. Would be really good for future versions if they could add some of their older moonphase watches. Thanks for the heads up. Cheers JML

I could not for the life of me figure out how to take a proper photo of my Master Calendar that was accepted by the program, but I could figure out by myself that mine was already set correctly...
