Jaeger Lecoultre Master Tourbillon Continent Enamel.
In 2009, Jaeger Lecoultre issued a series of Master Tourbillon, limited in 20 pieces. But it was also available in yellow gold and rose gold, also in a limited edition of 20 pieces.
The case is big, 43mm.
It could have been close to perfection, according to my own definition... IF:

The dial, in gold, is first guilloché, then enameled.

It would have been a manual winding movement, instead of the very reliable, accurate, but automatic Cal 978.
- If the tourbillon was located in the back side, not on the dial side.
Indeed, here, the tourbillon makes a " hole " in the splendid dial, which is a pity, in my opinion.

Never heard of this one before, but is definitely a collector's masterpiece.
Manual winding would have been better, but I like a lot how the automatic caliber looks here, not too bad at all 😉 Thanks for sharing Nico!

Tried something different from the design perspective. It’s interesting that the tourbillion looks like a giant plug hole, draining the oceans.
This is a fascinating piece
It would give the owner some travel desires.. I agree on your points on the architecture of the movement. Definitely not something that we see everyday: thanks for giving us a close look
