Jaeger Lecoultre Master 8 Days Perpetual Calendar Skeleton Rose Gold 1833 Edition.
Two old pictures I found in my hard disc, of a watch which is a pure beauty.
I owned it in platinum, as I immediately fell in love when it was released in 2007.
One year later, Jaeger Lecoultre released this rose gold version which, due to the contrast between the case and the ruthenium skeleton movement, is eye catching... Yes, yes, you read me well, the no colored gold fan in me liked and still likes this Perpetual Calendar.
This rose gold version was made to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the brand, in a limited edition of... 175 pieces.
The advantage of the rose gold over the platinum version lies in the legibility.

watches and rare too. Somehow, it reminds me of a time when JLC are more expressive with their pieces. So much craft and skill go into each movement. Thanks for the look back into past masterpieces. /W72
