It is an intellectual watch
At least it makes me think.
Such things as:
- why are there big holes in the dial?
- why put a huge pusher on the case that ideally only needs to be used every three years?
- why the pointer date that's so hard for us old guys to read?
- why such a huge case for such an elegant watch?
- why the redundant moon phase displays?
I much prefer the chrono, except it lacks a date display. I'm not smart enough to remember the date without my watch, so for me it's a must!
Certainly a beautiful machine. Perhaps the next version will combine the features I prefer. 
Better start saving my pennies now.

1. The big holes on the dial if youare referring to the two power reserve indicators are in fact a nice touch. The power reserve-indicator-triangles actually move to create the illusion that the pointer is moving. And it naturally shows a bit of the movem...
