Interview with Mr. Riedo

Dear Nicolas,
Thank you very much indeed for sharing your passion and insight with us as well as being an amazing moderator!!!
I would love to hear more details about your talk with Mr. Riedo. For some reason, I have the feeling he has a very different take on JLC then his esteemed predecessor? Now that JLC does not have to prove anymore that they can produce high complications, maybe each collection will become more focussed with even more attention to detail, such as dial, finish of the movement, and a more crystallised message what each collection is about?!
I have the feeling, he is the right man for the job! But maybe, I'm wrong. . . . . ?????!!!!
As for the MUT collection I do think size is an issue. The 41mm case for examples feels too large and doesn't feel thin but flat without charm.
But the new 38.5mm small seconds hand looks great and most likely will "feel" right! I would love to see a white gold version with a grained dial. Or a pink gold version with a grained dial. I dare to claim that JLC's grained dials are the most beautiful in the industry.
Best and thank you,
Andreas
