Look back on my post on something like that.
I wanted an engraving on my reverso GR, but decided against it because it becomes too personalised to even sell if you see a better reverso in the future.
That's one point enough to make me reconsider.
But, if you're going to hold on to that piece for good, an engraving would be very very nice. Might even make the value go up if the work is good.
Just remember to get a good engraver to do that.
Why not just enamel paint it, like the pavonia? You can always get the enamel off if you don't like it.

Welcome here, first! An advice: Engrave as you want the case back of a Reverso, but NOT the Sapphire on the case back!!! AFAIK, JLC won't accept to do it, and therefore, even if it was possible, you will modifiy the apsect of your watch, and you won't see...
