I really like the Septantieme, but it was a bit too big for me.
I wanted the Septantieme and the Grande GMT to work on my wrist, but they were both too big for me. Fortunately, the time-only Grand Taille size works beautifully on my wrist. The 1990s limited edition Reverso models were the first watches that got me excited about watches. I always envisioned owning a Reverso as my first watch from an aesthetic standpoint. Somehow I ended up with a micro-rotor Patek 240 caliber, partially because I really liked that micro rotor movement!

I like these compilation views, especially for models like the Reverso which has been through many many cases. I don't remember having seeing it here. Sadly it misses a few from the past (at least the original '30s Reverso and XGT). Source: grail-watch.co...
Actually I found it kind of confusing having so many sizes,,,,
and not living in a city with a store that sold them, so I could try them on. Especially for a watch that some people find doesn't sit well on their wrist. I had this one... ...

I bought my XGT "blind": no seeing no trying 😊 as the offer was way too good to be missed. I knew I took a risk as it has a strong presence on the wrist (size and weight) but it suits me perfectly. For Reverso, I think the risk is bigger with both extreme...
No I sold it. I have a Cartier Tank and a GP 1945 so this one didn't stick. I do probably wish I'd kept it.
It's kind of funny but I seem to sell off watches with Arabic Numerals and tend to trend to Roman or just markers. I have a couple with a limited number of numerals on them but the full set like this watch doesn't seem to stick although I love the art dec...

Funny you mention the Tank. The number of sizes is also rather high for this model, as mentioned my Patrick in the Cartier section! Best, E.
Yeah it's a funny thing that we usually have a sweet spot for round watches say-38-42ish and can trust buying them just knowing the size....
but with rectangular it's a whole different thing. My Parmigiana Kalpa is something like 56 or something and the GP 1945 is 30 something. The lugs seem to make more of a difference in rectangular as well.
The Grand Taille size range works the best for me.
Mine appears to be around 47-48 mm long, lug to lug. And the case width is around 28mm. Thus, I would say mine is a Reverso Classic Large Small Seconds (with slightly longer lugs).
