It is very nice watch, coming from another era indeed. Is that the version with the officer case back? I kind of remember these times when JLC was making these classics, with a little bit of nostalgia must say. Wear it in best of health! Jerome

@Jp75: Yes, this is the version with a hunter case back. While appropriate for this model, it ended up as the weakest aspect of this reference because the hinge could be more robust. It is actually not difficult to ruin it even for daily opening for admir...

…if it is not regularly worn, there are three pushers—date, month and moonphase—that has different ‘do not set periods’. I have to retrieve the manual so digging out the thick dictionary like book does warrant for a special occasion 😅

I get the impression that a lot of calendar complication watches take a bit of setting. There are a few exceptions though - there is the IWC perpetual where it's all done through the crown. Cheers JML
