I don’t know if JLC have “borrowed” from IWC or not, but I once were on a lecture regarding the perpetual calendar how it was built hold by Mr Kurt Klaus.
I must say it was very impressive, and I have nothing but great respect for his work!
There might be worse examples to borrow from…
But I agree with you that preferable is that every Manufacture uses their own, but I guess that “steal, beg and borrow” are more common than we might think…

reverso is great but somehow I like this one much
better - maybe because I have sentiment for vintage reverso's and neither skeleton tourbilon (with amazing movement) nor more popular squadra are not so convincing for me even though they are great watches with very interesting design!!!! my best Rafal

Nicolas, I am serious Vintage reverso is on my plan list for next year - just one presumably very early version with Tavanes movement but that makes the things harder - couple of times I got close to it but there was something .... Anyhow my big congrats ...
