can't work out whether I like the dial more than the case-back - both beautiful

and, to my knowledge, one of the (if not THE) only skeletonized watches where the bridges were "designed" around a motif - in this case the "geo" radiating from the balance. I think it is one of the most beautiful skeletons ever devised by any manufacture... 

Although I have a lot of admiration for the Reverso Platinum Nr 2, skeleton, a very light one, admirably playing the card of Transparency. As for the movement, even if it is " Kurt Klaused ", I don't really care when the movement reaches this level, to sa...

in 1985, Kurt Klaus was the only movement designer left at IWC. He drew the plans for and developed a perpetual calendar module that could sit on top of a base movement. At that time, IWC had no ebauche, so the brand released it on top of a ValJoux 7750 a...

I don’t know if JLC have “borrowed” from IWC or not, but I once were on a lecture regarding the perpetual calendar how it was built hold by Mr Kurt Klaus. I must say it was very impressive, and I have nothing but great respect for his work! There might be...

better - maybe because I have sentiment for vintage reverso's and neither skeleton tourbilon (with amazing movement) nor more popular squadra are not so convincing for me even though they are great watches with very interesting design!!!! my best Rafal

I saw several, lately... Even if I already own one, I saw another one, but white dial, this time, a central seconds, in a stunning condition... A pure beauty, which crossed my mind. Best, Nicolas

Nicolas, I am serious Vintage reverso is on my plan list for next year - just one presumably very early version with Tavanes movement but that makes the things harder - couple of times I got close to it but there was something .... Anyhow my big congrats ... 

I have the black one, and now consider the white sister. ( Circa 1937 ) Of course, an early model with a laquered dial would be fantastic, too! Greediness... Best, Nicolas...

I must say, if I was able to take ANY one, I'd actually go for the Grande Taille "Art Deco," silver dial, with the skeletonized back. I think this is possibly the most "beautiful" Reverso of all - - - understanding that "beauty is in the eyes of the behol... 

In less than 6 months, we'll know if fairies are not only fairies, but truth... We all hope and wish so many things about this 80eme! Best, Nicolas
